Sunday Social
It’s Sunday and that means Sunday Social with Neely. I love these posts because I feel like I get to share some information about myself without feeling weird. {You know talking about yourself can get weird? or is it just me?} I shared the ABCs of Me yesterday so stop by that post to learn even more.
What is your ideal way to relax:
watch some cheesy show or surf the internet with a little Malibu rum & coke or
who doesn’t love a little retail therapy sometimes? even window shopping helps sometimes.
Where is your favorite place to be:
at home, yep cheesy as it may sound, I LOVE being at home. I get homesick after being gone a short weekend. I miss the dogs and cats and our coffee
Who do you consider your biggest role model:
wow, depending on what part of life we are talking about I look up to quite a few people for different reasons
What does your life look like in 3 years?
Well, hopefully, a fantastic 8 & 3 yr old. Maybe getting ready to move to our ideal house out from the city further, more room for the kids and dogs to run. I will be able to take outfit photos without cringing and giving up half way through.
If you could go back and change one decision what would it be?
Probably would have bought those skinny boyfriend jeans I fell in love with yesterday, oh wait I did go to a different store and buy them.
What is your biggest accomplishment in life thus far?
My kids, I never thought I wanted to stay at home when we had children. I felt like I would {need} my space and wouldn’t want to take care of them 24/7. Boy was I wrong! I tried working part time and it killed me everytime I left her with my husband. No, I wasn’t worried about leaving her with her dad, yes I was heartbroken I would miss a minute of her growing up, exploring, learning her new world. This is my biggest and hardest role in life so far. It is worth all the stress and difficult times. I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else. Well maybe at the mall but they would be there with the stroller.
I am also pretty proud of having a homebirth with a 10lb baby. Never would I ever have thought I would have a homebirth and enjoy it so much!

I loved reading your post and I totally agree about missing your dogs and your coffee after being away (I always miss my own bed too)
10 lbs! Oh my! Your kids are adorable!
Stopping by from Sunday Social!!
Ramblings of a Suburban Mom
Okay, a few things here…yes to the retail therapy and I’m curious about those skinny bf jeans you speak of? Future feature? I thought I’d be the only weirdo saying “home” but that seems like a pretty popular answer. I also never thought I’d be content being a stay at home mom, but now I’m like how can you let someone (boss) tell you when you have to leave your children? Aaand holy jeepers with a ten pound baby!! My girl was under 7 and I STILL couldn’t squeeze her outta these nonexistent hips!! Yea, I’d be proud too!
